Laura Botros

PRESIDENT

Laura Botros is currently serving as your 2019-2020 SkillsUSA Tennessee President. She is a senior at Mcgavock High School in Nashville, TN. She is honored to be a part of SkillsUSA. She became involved in SkillsUSA in her freshman year and enjoyed competing in CSI and Extemporaneous Speech. Through her experiences, she was able to explore more careers and opportunities. She joined the organization and ran for state office to help students like her become more active and aware of what they can accomplish. During her years in skills, she won a gold medal for her Extemporaneous Speaking and was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award from her previous term as a state officer, in which she served as the state Secretary. Laura was born in Egypt. She is a part of the Ambassador Team and is a student in the Hospitality and Tourism Academy at McGavock High School. She is so thankful to have had three wonderful years in SkillsUSA. Laura looks forward to serving the state of Tennessee this year to the best of her ability.
