Registration will be open starting on TBA, 2021 and will close on TBA, 2021. All payments are due by TBA, 2021. Conference hotel reservations will be open from TBA, 2021-TBA, 2021. Checks should be made payable to SkillsUSA Tennessee with SkillsUSA-5000 in the memo line. Guest Registration
There is an option for adding an aquarium ticket or awards breakfast for guests who are not registered for the conference. If you have parent or other guest who would like to come to either the aquarium or awards ceremony, which are access restricted activities, you can add the options under any student or advisor’s registration. Please note the check boxes under Fees/Options section are in reference to person registered. The Add Optional State Fee Items is for a Guest ONLY, and is how you purchase an additional ticket for friends and/or family who want to come to aquarium and/or breakfast awards ceremony. |
Championships
The SkillsUSA Championships are competitive events showcasing the best career and technical education students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels. The philosophy of the Championships is to reward students for excellence, to involve industry in directly evaluating student performance and to keep training relevant to employers’ needs.
NOTE: In order to retrieve your score, you MUST HAVE YOUR CONTESTANT NUMBER. In an effort to provide additional security over detailed competitor scores, a Date of Birth for the desired Contestant is now required. Scores will be available online one to two weeks after the event ends. OBSERVATIONS Kindly respect the marked areas for observers; this is done for your safety. A contest coordinator or SkillsUSA staff may close contests to observers where there are safety considerations, space limitations, and/or when observers could interfere with the successful operation of a contest. Please follow the directions of the contest officials. |
Opening Kickoff & Celebration
SkillsUSA Monday Night Kickoff at Tennessee Aquarium: will be held from 6:00-9:30 p.m. You must have your conference T-shirt and badge to enter. The dress code for the aquarium is our SkillsUSA conference T-shirt and either khaki or black pants. No blue jeans! Advisors you can add aquarium tickets to your school’s registration for guests who only want to attend the aquarium.
Breakfast and Awards Ceremony
SkillsUSA Wednesday morning Breakfast and Awards Ceremony will be held at Chattanooga Convention Center Exhibit Hall A starting at 8:30 a.m. Doors will open at 8 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is included in the conference registration fee. Advisors you can add breakfast tickets to your school’s registration for guests who only want to attend the awards ceremony. Contestants MUST either be in Official or Contest Dress to go on stage. Advisors / Chaperones / Guests should dress business casual. Jeans will be considered inappropriate dress.
High School Delegate Assembly
The high school delegate assembly and meet the candidates will be held at Marriott Plaza B & C on Tuesday afternoon starting at 3:30 PM, with voting polls opening immediately following the session.
Design Contests
The pin and t-shirt design contests gives SkillsUSA members an opportunity to showcase their graphic design skills at the state and national level.

EXHIBIT
The SkillsUSA Tennessee Career and Trade Show is held in the midst of the State Leadership and Skills Conference, where more than 2,000 outstanding career and technical education students from across Tennessee compete hands-on in different trade, technical, and leadership fields. |
