SkillsUSA offers so many amazing leadership opportunities for registered members. Below are common paths students take in SkillsUSA Leadership.
Holding chapter office
The starting point of your leadership journey in SkillsUSA is holding a Chapter Officer position. Being a chapter officer, you are responsible for the running of your local chapter and the members inside of it. As a chapter officer, you may plan fundraisers, create a program of work, run meetings, and so much more. Chapter Officer requirements are on a chapter-by-chapter basis so ask your local advisor for more information on your local chapter officer procedures. holding state office
After beginning their leadership journey, many students choose to continue their journey by running for state office. The SkillsUSA Tennessee State Officer Team has 6 available spots each year. Members of the State Officer Team:

holding national office
Holding a National Officer Position is the highest step in a students leadership journey. SkillsUSA National Officers must be dedicated to SkillsUSA, possess excellent communication skills, display professionalism, and be able to work as a team.
